About the Job
Jimmy John's is looking for a self-motivated person to train as an assistant manager. Jimmy John's is family owned and operated and a fast-paced, fun place to work. The position will become full-time upon completion of training and demonstrated ability to run shifts. This is NOT a short term position. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Prompt and calm.
- Ability to work quickly.
- Ability to handle money accurately and honestly.
- Ability to supervise in a diplomatic, yet firm manner.
- Restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Duties are slicing, making 30-second sandwiches, and ensuring deliveries go out quickly.
- Baking cycles of bread.
- Ensuring the store is clean according to JJ standards.
- Running a successful shift, including completing shift paperwork.
- The successful candidate may be asked to work some weekends.
Others:
- Pay starts at $14 per hour, but will increase after training.
